Dick Drago took a no-hitter into the 7th inning at Municipal Stadium where the
Kansas City Royals beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4 to 0.
 
Drago(3-6) delivered a fine performance for Kansas City.  He was reached for 2
hits and 5 walks in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 4.11 to 3.61.  The
right-handed Drago had his no-hit bid broken up by Mike Hegan who singled
with nobody out in the 7th inning.  Kansas City finished with 8 hits while
Milwaukee ended up with 3.  
 
The loss was charged to Al Downing(2-3).  He gave up 3 hits and 5 walks in 5
innings.
