Tom Phoebus went the distance as the Baltimore Orioles topped the Kansas City
Royals by a score of 5 to 2 at Memorial Stadium.

In the bottom of the 5th inning Baltimore scored 4 runs when they had 4 base
hits. The key at-bat was by Ellie Hendricks who came through for the home
fans when he smacked a single bringing in two baserunners. Baltimore had a
