Diego Segui allowed 3 hits while blanking Kansas City and Campy Campaneris
smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Oakland A's defeated the Kansas City
Royals 5 to 0 at Oakland Co Stadium.
It was a good day for Oakland thanks to Campaneris. He cleared the fences for
a two-run home run in the 2nd inning, laced a one-base hit in the 4th inning
and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his 4th of the season) in the 8th inning.
Oakland had 11 hits for the night.
Segui(2-0) went the distance for the shutout. Dave Morehead(0-1) was charged
with the loss. He allowed 5 hits and 3 walks in 4 innings.
