Third baseman Bob Oliver went deep and had 2 RBI as the Kansas City Royals
defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 5 to 1 at County Stadium.
The game started off with Kansas City taking the lead in the first when they
tallied 4 runs on 5 hits. That was all the runs Bill Butler(1-1) needed.
Kansas City had 11 hits overall, while Milwaukee had 6.
Butler got relief help from Jim Rooker who gained credit for his 1st save.
Lew Krausse(1-2) took the loss. He allowed 4 runs and 10 hits in 8 innings.
