George Mitterwald slammed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Minnesota Twins
defeated the Kansas City Royals in 13 innings by a score of 8 to 4 at
Municipal Stadium.

inning. The highlight belonged to Mitterwald who helped quiet the crowd when
he belted a three-run homer (his 10th of the season). A wild affair, this
